Otehei Bay Stopover

A feature of Fullers' cruises is our island visit. On your cruise you'll see many fabulous islands - here you get to set foot on one. Otehei Bay is one of the most beautiful bays on Urupukapuka Island. It has been famous since the days when Zane Grey, the famous American author, chased the big marlin from his camp here.

Our 'island stopover', exclusive to Fullers, offers numerous activities. You can take a scenic walk, sunbathe and swim or take a Nautilus Subsea Adventure and don't miss the Arts & Craft Centre featuring work by local Maori artists.

Set in the heart of all of this is our Otehei Bay Cafe. Here you can enjoy a great range of refreshments, snacks and meals with a cold drink.

If we've whet your appetite then maybe you'd like a longer stay. Passengers arriving on a morning cruise can stay for the day and return on a later vessel (subject to availability). Check with your crew if you wish to extend your island stopover.

Cabins are also available for overnight stays at very reasonable prices.
